Learning Python
Sept 2024 - Dec 2024
Started learning basics of Python on my own, and how object - oriented programming works.
CS-110
This was my first computer science class where I learned about APIS, JSON and other file formats, and packages. I also built my first 2D game using Pygame library, and learned about GUI design. This was also when I first started using GitHub and basic Git control.
April 2025 - May 2025
Django Website
Using the Django web framework, I built a dynamic website to show off my portfolio while improving my front-end skills. This helped me learn about web deployment, databases, and SQL queries.
May 2025 - July 2025
PeopleTime LLC - Mobile App Developer
This was my first time working at a startup. I was mainly working on the front-end, focusing on UI design with the Flutter framework. I also set up Google and Apple authentication and tested through Android Studio's emulators to make sure everything was compatible.
May 2025 - October 2025
Web Surfing Studios - Junior Software Engineer
I worked with ASP.NET MVC through C# to develop sites, and used Microsoft SQL Servers to manage our database. For hosting my personal site I built throughout this internship, I used Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps to handle tasks and the workflow.
October 2025 - May 2026
Ink2Pixel - StackHacks
As part of StackHacks, I am working with a team to train a handwriting and mathematical symbol recognition model using EasyOCR, OpenCV, and Pytorch. I am also improving my skills using Jupyter Notebook and Git throughout this, along with learning computer vision fundamentals.
June 2026 - July 2026
Software Engineer Intern - Arch Capital
I worked with .NET and React to improve Arch's portfolio application. I added to and upgraded UI elements to make the site more user friendly. My main project was building a React SPA to replace command-line portfolio pricing, which allows for portfolio statistics to be displayed and to help compare accuracy between pricing engines.
